After an incredibly busy month where my computer crashed among other things I’m back 🙂 Including a few images from my recent trip to Hocking Hills.
I had heard of this unique location in northwest Ohio before but never visited before. Mid morning and the sun was out so decided to stop for a visit. There are thousands of unique pieces in this spot and I especially enjoyed the stone garden.
It felt good to finally get out shooting again after a week off. The snow is melting and sunshine is returning which makes for great conditions here in Ohio.
I love the unique images you can get in winter but thinkin it’s about time for spring…
After waking a couple hours before sunrise I decided to venture out even with temps well below zero. Came away pretty pleased with a few of these images as I looked for unique compositions in the snow. Have a feeling in a couple more weeks it will all be gone and I’ll be yearning for spring colors and new adventures beyond my hometown:)
Some urban images shot around locally in the past couple months. I prefer and enjoy shooting nature but lack of travel opens up new opportunities.
Winter scenes and snow just seem to lend themselves to black and white. I can’t help but to keep trying different compositions around! Taking full advantage when we have recent snowfall but at the same time looking forward to those spring colors and fingertips that aren’t frozen after 5 minutes lol.
A few shots I’ve enjoyed of birds in the past week or 2. Winter makes for some challenging conditions but I’ve made the best of it!
The sun doesn’t seem to make too many appearances in rural Ohio this time of year so when it does I try to take full advantage! All images take in local parks surrounding Lima.
I love all the different spots available around Cincinnati! I’m lucky enough to only live a couple hours away and going back this weekend to find some new spots! If you have any great locations for me I’d love to hear em! See all of my work at http://mndphoto.com
